CRISPY FISH FRY

"Fish are healthy".We must admit it.But to cook them tastly,not every one can do that.so here is a simple reciepe made of easily avaliable ingredients in our kitchens.The crispy fishfry which makes an excellent appetizer(or)a side dish.Believe us it gonna be a perfect blend of good health & taste.

key ingredients:
  • 1/2kg fish( pieces or fillets)
  •  2tbsp oil or as needed
First marination:
  • 1 tbsp GINGER GARLIC PASTE.
  • Lemon juice as needed
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3/4 tsp GARAM MASALA
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Second marination:
  • 1 1/2 tbsp rice flour or all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp besan or gram flour or corn flour
  • salt as needed
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 spring curry leaves


                  

Preparation method:
  •  Add salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric , garam masala, coriander powder and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Mix all of these together to make a fine paste,adjust salt as per taste.
  • Rinse the fish pieces thoroughly.
  • Apply this marinated mixture to the fish pieces.If needed add 1 tsp of water to apply to the paste well.Keep this aside.
  • Add flour,salt,red chilli powder and curry leaves.
  • place the fish in flour mixture.make sure flour coat well on to the fish on both sides. set the fish for dry until the dry flour turns moist.
  • The  moisture in the fish makes the flour damp and it sticks well to the fish.this will takes around 10 - 15 minutes.
making fish fry:
  • Heat a pan or tawa. Add 2 tbsp oil and spread it well.
  • Heat it on  a low flame.Fry the fish pieces till crispy on both sides.
  • Be gentle while flipping the fish otherwise the masala comes out.
  • Finally fish fry is ready to eat.Serve with a meal or as an appetizer.
